ls-lR.Z
	is the compressed output of "ls -lR"; updated nightly.

pub/
	contains various programs including the (now out of date)
	UofToronto distribution of TeX, SLIP for SunOS, S/SL (a table
	walker for a syntax/semantic language), UofT bind (a hacked
	version of bind 4.8), the latest version of and patches for C
	News, a disk to disk backup daemon, a batch daemon and various
	other stuff.

	pub/reports contains DCS and CSRI technical reports.
	pub/usenet contains FAQs from the *.answers groups, updated nightly.

	We try and keep a README for every item in the distribution, but
	sometimes we slip up...

doc/
info/
	contains documents of interest to UNIX system users and
	programmers.  doc/programming contains machine readable papers
	on Unix/C programming style and performance.

list-archives/
	archives of various internet mailing lists.
	(warning -- these archives may not be complete -- in a space
	crunch, less valuable lists get truncated without warning).
	sun-spots/ contain archives for the (defunct?) Sun-Spots mailing list,
	up to July 1991.  ailist/ is a complete archive of the defunct
	AIList mailing list, from MIT.

indexed-archives/
	contains an index to comp.archives.

ca-domain/
	Information on the CA (Canada) domain.
	Maintained by path@cs.toronto.edu.

na/, vis/
	Areas used by the local Numerical Analysis and Vision&Robotics groups.
